Introduction:

Resume writing and job interviews are essential functions for any job seeker. Unfortunately, these skills are often learned ‘as you go’ and not taught thoroughly in the essential highschool years. This class is designed to help provide these skills in a time when they are most needed. Highschool seniors and recent graduates are encouraged to apply, however, this class is open to anyone wishing to attend.

Class Description:

Part 1: Attendees will receive strategies and instruction on effective resume writing and formatting, what to include and disclude from a resume, and general resume etiquette.

Part 2: Attendees will receive strategies and tactics for effective job interviews, basic job interview etiquette, and participate in a mock interview to receive valuable feedback.

Required Materials:

Notebook and pen are encouraged to take notes on. Attendees are asked to dress nicely or bring dress clothes to change into for the interview portion of the class. All other necessary materials will be provided.

Class Instructor:

Josh Soule is an MBA graduate, with several years of experience in management-level positions in a variety of fields. During his experience, Mr. Soule has recruited, hired, and trained dozens of individuals before focusing on earning his Master’s Degree in Business Administration to better focus his skills in this field. Currently, Mr. Soule works for Wyoming Indian Elementary School and is the owner of The Lost Chapter bookstore along with his wife, Sierra.
